Everything you need to know about using Timule.

Timule uses location for nearby Memories, placing Memories, Revisits and AR.

Memories

A Memory can include a photo or video, a caption and its place.

Before publishing

  • Choose who can see it under Privacy.
  • Allow camera, photo, microphone or location access when needed.

Memory Journeys

A Memory Journey brings related Memories and people into one shared story.

Who can open it

  • Private: invited members only
  • Public: discoverable, while private Memories stay hidden

Manage a Journey

Owners can edit details and members. Find archived Journeys under Settings > Memories.

Revisits

Near a placed Memory, you can create a Revisit and use the original image to frame your new shot.

If Revisit is unavailable

Check camera and location permissions, then move closer to the place.

Map and AR

The Home map shows Memories available to you. Nearby Memories may offer Find in AR or Revisit.

AR needs

  • Camera and location access
  • A supported device
  • A good GPS signal

Read the Timule safety guide.

Notifications

Notifications can include

  • Journey invitations and activity
  • Likes and comments on your Memories
  • Nearby Memories

Manage notifications

Use your device settings or mute an individual Journey. Archived Journeys remain muted.

Reports and blocks

Report something

Report a Memory or message from its options. The reported item is immediately hidden from your view.

Block someone

Blocking hides that person’s content and prevents them from messaging you.

Report a location

If a Memory appears somewhere dangerous, private or restricted, report it in Timule. Location-based features may be limited where necessary.

Read the Timule safety guide.

Delete your account in Timule

  1. Go to Settings > Account > Delete account.
